WOMEN'S GOLF
Duke University junior Leona Maguire along with 2014 alumna Laetitia Beck will kick off Olympic golf action Aug. 17-20 at the Reserva de Marapendi Golf Club in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Beck will be representing Israel, while Maguire is with Ireland. Golf returns to the Olympics after 112 years being absent. Before that, it was part of the program only in Paris 1900 and St Louis 1904. All golfers will compete individually and will play a total of 72 holes without a cut.
