DURHAM – Members of the Blue Devil football program took to Duke's campus early Tuesday morning to pick up trash and debris as part of the team's annual campus cleanup project.
The squad split into five groups and tackled the main areas of the West Campus. Each player was armed with a garbage bag and spent an hour picking up garbage before depositing the findings into a truck. In all, the Blue Devils amassed hundreds of pounds of trash that was hauled away from campus.
The Blue Devils bring back six returning starters on offense and six on defense from last season's squad.
