DURHAM, N.C. – For the second consecutive season and the third time in the last four years, the Duke baseball team is heading to the NCAA Tournament after receiving an at-large bid to the postseason event Monday. The Blue Devils will travel to Morgantown, W.Va., for the NCAA Morgantown Regional.
The Blue Devils open tournament play against Texas A&M at Monongalia County Ballpark on Friday at 4 p.m. on ESPN2. The host Mountaineers face Atlantic 10 champion Fordham on Friday at 8 p.m. on ESPN3.
Within the Morgantown Regional, Duke owns an 8-3 advantage against West Virginia, but the two have not just once since 1996.
