Two quarterbacks with NFL dreams, one short-term and the other long-term, broke up football’s offseason monotony this spring at Duke.
Thaddeus Lewis has NFL experience. He also owns Duke’s career passing yardage record (10,065).
Daniel Jones set the Duke record for passing yardage by a freshman (2,836) last season.
Throughout May and June, with Lewis at Duke rehabilitating the injured knee that sidelined him for the entire 2016 season. He and Jones worked together in the film room and on the practice fields, the experienced professional tutoring a player destined to be Duke’s next NFL quarterback.
