DURHAM, N.C. – The league office released the 2016 ACC Women’s Tennis Championship bracket Sunday afternoon, following the conclusion of the regular season, with Duke garnering the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament. First-round play begins Wednesday, April 20 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
Duke earned the four seed after registering an 18-5 overall record and an 11-3 ledger in ACC play. The Blue Devils’ 11 conference wins marks the third straight year of double-digit ACC victories. Duke is scheduled to compete Friday, April 22. The winner of the Wednesday matchup between 12th-seeded Florida State and 13th-seeded Boston College will compete against fifth-seeded Virginia at 1 p.
