Duke Freshman Kat McDonald Added to NSCAA High School All-America Team

Incoming Duke women’s soccer recruit Kat McDonald was recently selected to be a part of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Winter-Spring Girls’ High School All-America Team for her performance on the field during her senior year of high school.

Kat McDonald will join the Blue Devils as one of the top recruits in the freshman class. The Raleigh, NC-native starred at Wakefield High School, where she earned the 2014-2015 North Carolina Player of the Year compiling 16 goals and 9 assists last season as a midfielder. McDonald has scored 61 goals and made 38 assists for her high school career in addition to earning numerous all-conference, all-state, and all-region girls soccer honors.
