The Virginia Cavaliers are riding high after their upset victory over then No. 16 Miami last weekend at home, and if you look at the boxscore, I’m still not sure how they won.
Quarterback Bryce Perkins completed 12 of his 21 passes for 92 yards and three interceptions.
The running game against the Hurricanes was good but nothing overly special to make up for the bad quarterback play. Jordan Ellis led the way with 86 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown while Perkins also took off with the ball 21 times, accumulating 61 yards.
