After receiving their first bowl win in over 50 years, Duke Football got some more good news as the team will add a very talented freshman class next season. 21 high school players have committed to play for the Blue Devils today on National Signing Day.
Coach Cutcliffe has excelled in turning the Duke football program around and improving recruiting, and the Blue Devils will add a great group of players that make up a Top 50 recruiting class nationally according to ESPN (28), Rivals (31), and Scout.com (33). These rankings also don’t include student athletes who enrolled early starting at Duke this semester, such as the top cornerback in the state Mark Gilbert, who would have definitely improved the class’ rankings.
