Duke football makes late push for West Coast defensive lineman

Duke football has been on a roll recently on the recruiting trail with the Class of 2021, and David Cutcliffe is trying to jump in late during the recruitment of a defensive lineman.

The Blue Devils extended an offer to Jacob Schuster on Wednesday, a 6-foot-2, 300-pound defensive tackle out of Olympia, Washington.

Schuster also recently picked up offers from Stanford, Michigan, and Washington in the last month as the 247 Sports Crystal Ball predicts the defensive lineman will end up at Stanford, albeit the confidence scale is on the lower tier.

Boise State, California, and Washington State have also been heavily involved in Jacob Schuster's recruitment, although he has not provided a timetable for a possible decision or cutdown of his top list of schools.
