As Super Bowl LIV was set to kickoff, major college football news hit the world as former Clemson quarterback Chase Brice announced his commitment to Duke University via his Twitter page on Sunday evening.
Brice was the backup quarterback to Tigers star Trevor Lawrence, who is still in college for at least one more season.
The 6-foot-2 signal caller will enter Duke as a junior and in the 2018 season he completed 32-of-51 passes for a total of 442 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions while rushing for 93 yards.
In 2019, Brice was 50-of-85 for 581 yards, four touchdowns, one interception, and 94 rushing yards with one rushing touchdown.
