Duke’s Wallace Wade Football Stadium has been under construction since immediately following the final game of the Blue Devils’ 2014-15 season against Wake Forest last year. The upgrades to the football arena are now finally complete, and the Blue Devils will open the renovated football arena this weekend against crosstown-foe North Carolina Central University in Durham’s Bull City Gridiron Classic.

The biggest change to the stadium is that the track which once surrounded the football field has been removed as part of Duke’s new Morris Williams Track & Field Stadium.
