Duke Football Holds Off Wake Forest for 27-21 Win

The Blue Devils ended their regular season on a good note after beating Wake Forest 27-21 in their last game of the season. Duke was in the midst of a 4-game losing streak, but after starting fast against the Demon Deacons they were able to hold off a late rally to seal the victory.

Thomas Sirk has been in and out of the lineup for the Duke offense the last few games due to injuries and the emergence of back-up Parker Boehme, who did see a little playing time today, but Sirk was excellent throwing for 275 yards and 2 touchdowns in addition to leading the team in rushing with 57 yards and a TD.
