ATLANTA – The Duke football team rallied from an early 10-point deficit but eventually fell, 24-14, at Georgia Tech on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Blue Devils (5-1, 1-1 ACC) trailed 10-0 and 10-7 midway through the third quarter before taking a lead with a 65-yard touchdown by Sahmir Hagans, but two scoring drives by the Yellow Jackets (4-2, 2-2 ACC) in the fourth quarter led to the eventual 24-14 final tally.

Hagans, a redshirt junior, took a short pass from redshirt sophomore quarterback Maalik Murphy and dashed 65 yards for the go-ahead score with 2:53 to play in the third quarter.
