Duke is stepping into deep recruiting waters with its latest offer to a top offensive lineman in the Class of 2022.
On Monday afternoon David Cutcliffe and his staff extended a scholarship to Gunner Givens, who is highly sought after in the sophomore class .
Givens, a Daleville, Virginia native, is ranked as the No. 137 recruit in the Class of 2022, the No. 15 offensive lineman, and No. 7 prospect in the state of Virginia, according to 247 Sports.
The Lord Botetourt High School standout also holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State, Louisville, Maryland, Notre Dame, Penn State, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia among other.
