CARY, N.C. – Sophomore Faris Khan highlighted Duke's impressive opening weekend of fall action as he claimed a singles title at the Duke James Bonk Invitational.
The Delray Beach, Fla., native bested the No. 1 seed in the B draw and fellow teammate Arturo Kam 6-1, 2-6, 6-0 to wrap up his weekend.
The No. 4 seed in the A draw, Andrew Zhang, secured a consolation third-place finish after he defeated Fons Van Sembeek of N.C. State in a thrilling three-set match.
