DURHAM - Duke Athletics finished the 2023-24 campaign ranked 17th in the Learfield IMG Directors' Cup Standings announced Wednesday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in the NCAA Championships, and a total of 18 Duke teams were in position to earn points.
Highlighted by the 83 points achieved by field hockey for reaching the national semifinal game in November, Duke secured 928.50 total points to finish fifth among ACC schools. The Blue Devils have finished in the top 30 all but twice in the 30 years since the Directors' Cup standings were first presented in 1993-94.
