HIGH POINT, N.C. – Four top-five program marks and a first-place finish at the Bob Davidson Invitational headlined a solid day of competition at the first meet of the outdoor season for the Duke track and field program.
Graduate student Erick Duffy picked up right where he left off at the end of the indoor season and kicked off his outdoor season with a win in the men's pole vault. Duffy cleared a height of 5.30m (17-4.50 feet) to finish first among the 11-member field, vaulting into No. 2 all-time in program history.
