DURHAM – The Duke fencing team received its second signee for the 2022-23 recruiting class as foilist Skylar Knight signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Blue Devil family.
Knight comes to Durham from Palo Alto, Calif., where she attends the Nueva School. She is a member of the Maximum Fencing Club under Maksym Petrov.
She comes to Duke with extensive international fencing experience and even captured gold with Team USA at the 2019 Pan American Junior Championship. She claimed another gold medal with Team USA at the Cadet World Cup in 2019 and silver at the 2020 Pan American Junior Championship.
