DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women’s fencing team secured three additional commitments for its incoming freshman class, as epeeist Kendyl Bree, foilist Zuzu Tang and saber Jessica Whang all recently signed National Letters of Intent to join the Blue Devils this fall. Bree, Tang and Whang join foilist Caitie Buteau and saber Lindsay Sapienza, who committed to Duke prior to the 2016 fencing season.
A native of Houston, Texas, Bree attended high school at the Kincaid School in Houston and fenced for Alliance Fencing Academy. Fencing at the 2014 USA Fencing National Championships, Bree finished atop the podium with a first-place performance in the Div.
