CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Duke dropped a 38-7 decision to North Carolina on Saturday afternoon at Kenan Stadium.
Senior running back Mataeo Durant totaled 114 rushing yards and junior wide receiver Jalon Calhoun recorded 103 receiving yards to lead the Duke offense. The duo became the 34th pair of teammates to register 100-plus rushing and 100-plus receiving yards, respectively, in a single game in program history.
Duke found itself in a 24-0 hole heading into halftime but were able to break through on its first play from scrimmage after the break.
