HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.—Twelfth-ranked Harvard used an 8-0 run over the span of the second and third quarters to upset No. 3 Duke 14-9 in non-conference men’s lacrosse action this afternoon at Hofstra University. The Blue Devils were led on offense by Justin Guterding’s six points, while goaltender Danny Fowler had a season-high 14 saves.
Duke falls to 4-2 overall on the year with both losses coming against ranked opponents, while Harvard remains unbeaten at 4-0. The Blue Devils went scoreless for a span of 30:39 over the course of the second and third quarters as Harvard started to pull away.
