DURHAM, N.C. – Trailing by seven points midway through the third quarter, the 22nd-ranked Blue Devils turned in a thrilling final 15 minutes but saw their comeback attempt fall short in a 65-62 loss to NC State Thursday in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Duke dropped to 12-6 overall and 1-3 in ACC play while the Wolfpack won its third straight conference game, moving to 13-5 on the year.
Sophomore Azurá Stevens logged her ACC-leading 10th double-double of the year with a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds, and freshmen Kyra Lambert (12) and Angela Salvadores (11) joined her in double figures as the Blue Devils shot nearly 50 percent from the field.
