Looks like the Victory Bell will be staying in Chapel Hill at least another year as the fine scholars from Chapel Hill knocked off Duke 38-7 in Kenan Stadium Saturday.
Duke got through the first quarter reasonably well, down just 7-0 but UNC scored 17 points in the second to take a 24-0 lead into halftime.
Duke scored its only touchdown in the third which was promising but was outscored 14-0 in the fourth.
Mataeo Durant rushed for 114 yards but didn’t score. Gunnar Holmberg passed reasonably well but UNC’s defense limited him to short gains.
