Duke Falls At Virginia, 30-27

When we look back on this Duke football season we will all inevitably ask: what would have happened if there were no major injuries?

Because look at the record.

Riley Leonard got hurt at the very end of the Notre Dame game and again when he tried to come back.

Duke led Florida State in the fourth quarter - in Tallahassee, then took UNC to double overtime and Saturday lost to Virginia 30-27.

You can’t blame the Virginia loss on injuries, or at least not the quarterback injuries (Leonard’s backup, Henry Belin, is also out), because Virginia’s Anthony Coleandra threw for three touchdowns and no QB can stop that.
