Duke University inducted nine new members into its Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday evening at a ceremony at the Washington Duke Inn. The Class of 2024 features two National Player of the Year honorees, Matt Danowski and JJ Redick; Olympic medalist Abby Johnston McGrath; NCAA champions Anna Grzebien Vanderlinde and Becca Ward; and standout athletes Monique Currie, Quinton McCracken, and Chris Port, along with three-time national champion coach John Danowski.
There are now 164 members in the Duke Athletics Hall of Fame, dating back to the inaugural ceremony in 1975. Voting is conducted by the Hall's enshrinees along with members of the Duke Athletics Hall of Fame committee.
