ROME, Ga. – The Duke men's tennis team had its run at the ACC Championship end in the quarterfinals with a 4-3 loss to four-seed Georgia Tech on Friday at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. It is the fourth-straight win in the series for the Yellow Jackets, all by 4-3 final scores with a match on court two determining the overall winner.
The Blue Devils led 1-0 Friday by taking the doubles point, only to have Georgia Tech go up 2-1 with the first two singles decisions. Duke regained the lead at 3-2 with the next two victories, but the Yellow Jackets took the final two singles matches.
