CARY, N.C. – The No. 68 Duke men’s tennis team ended its ACC Championship trip with a 4-1 loss to No. 41 Notre Dame on Thursday afternoon at the Cary Tennis Park. The Blue Devils registered their point with a straight-set victory by senior Josh Levine.
Duke (11-15) had its season come to an end with the setback to the Fighting Irish (15-12).
“It’s unusual for us,” head coach Ramsey Smith said. “I’ve never been in a situation where we haven’t been in the team event. We’re going to do everything we can to get Nico [Alvarez] ready for NCAAs.
