DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke field hockey team was one of 79 Division I programs to earn the 2020 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Team Academic Award, as announced by the organization on Monday morning.
The NFHCA National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2020-21 academic year.
The Blue Devils compiled a team GPA of 3.73 last fall as a program-record 19 student-athletes were named to the 2020 NFHCA National Academic Squad. Junior Leah Crouse and freshmen Alayna Burns and Morgan Fletcher received NFHCA Scholars of Distinction honors.
