DURHAM, N.C. – Duke field hockey collected its first win of the 2020 campaign with a 2-0 shutout victory over Wake Forest on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium.
The Blue Devils' (1-6, 0-4 ACC) two scores were the first collegiate goals for graduate student Eva Nunnink and freshman Darcy Bourne. The Demon Deacons (2-6, 1-3 ACC) were limited to only three shots in the contest.
"It feels great to get a win," head coach Pam Bustin said.
