ATLANTA, Ga. – It was yet another offensive clinic from the Duke Blue Devils on Sunday, as they turned in 13 hits and a pair of home runs to defeat the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 8-6, to complete the first ACC road series sweep in school history.
Duke (17-19, 8-4 ACC) finished the weekend with 28 runs on 41 hits to pick up its first series win against Georgia Tech (22-16, 5-7 ACC). The two totals stand as school records for an ACC series, along with the Blue Devils’ 26 runs batted in and six homers.
