DURHAM, N.C.—For the 18th time overall and seventh consecutive year, the Duke field hockey team earned a spot in the NCAA Field Hockey Championship. The Blue Devils will play Iowa in the opening round on the campus of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
Duke (13-7) will take on the Big Ten Champion Hawkeyes, Friday, Nov. 15 at 2:30 p.m. The Blue Devils are 24-17 all-time in NCAA Tournament history and 9-6 under head coach Pam Bustin. The matchup against Iowa is the first in NCAA postseason history for the Blue Devils and the 10th against a Big Ten opponent.
