CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Duke's two-point conversion attempt in double overtime fell short on Saturday night and the Blue Devils dropped a 47-45 decision to No. 24 North Carolina at Kenan Stadium.
In a back-and-forth affair, Duke (6-4, 3-3 ACC) registered the go-ahead score with 41 seconds remaining in regulation after quarterback found wide receiver in the back of the end zone for a 30-yard touchdown reception to make it a 36-33 ballgame. North Carolina (8-2, 4-2 ACC) answered as time expired to knot the score following a 43-yard field goal, sending the contest into overtime.
