DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke volleyball team dropped a heartbreaking five-set match, 3-2 (25-20, 15-25, 11-25, 25-19, 20-22) to No. 19 Pitt Sunday afternoon in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Once again, the Blue Devils were led by Ade Owokoniran and Gracie Johnson with 16 kills each. Owokoniran registered an impressive .387 hitting percentage with just four errors while Payton Schwantz added 13 of her own.
Setter Alex Springate continues to be solid for Duke and dished 46 assists today and notched 16 digs while libero Mackenzie Cole racked up 24 digs.
