BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Duke baseball team fell to Campbell 6-3 on Tuesday night at Jim Perry Stadium in Buies Creek, N.C.
Duke took an early 3-0 lead, scoring in each of the first two innings, but struggled to plate runs beyond the second inning. The Blue Devils (19-24) matched Campbell (27-14) in hits at eight each but left 13 runners on base.
Three Blue Devils had multi-hit games for Duke. Junior Chad Knight finished 2-for-4 with an RBI while classmate Graham Pauley went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI.
