COLUMBIA, S.C. –Duke sophomore Daniel Wright buried a penalty kick in the 82nd minute to help the No. 10 Blue Devils to a 1-1 draw at South Carolina.

The Blue Devils came out on the right foot, getting forward early and having two looks at goal. Max Moser had the first shot from 20 yards just over a minute into the contest blocked and Daniele Proch’s effort was stopped by Clemson goalkeeper Ian McGrane.

Duke continued to control the run of play and build through the midfield, but South Carolina gradually started to build momentum after the first 15 minutes.
