SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The 10th-ranked Duke women's tennis team blanked its second opponent of the weekend, No. 25 Syracuse, 7-0, Sunday afternoon in Syracuse, N.Y.
With the victory, the Blue Devils improve to 9-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play as the Orange dip to 6-2 and 1-1 in the ACC.
"All in all, it was a great weekend for us," head coach Jamie Ashworth said. "To go on the road in this conference is never easy and to come away with two convincing wins is a great stepping stone to where we want to be.
