CHICAGO – In a rematch of the 2019 NCAA Final Four, the fifth-ranked Duke women's tennis team took down third-ranked Georgia, 4-2, Saturday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the 2020 ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
With the win, the Blue Devils improve to 7-1 and 2-1 against nationally ranked foes as the Bulldogs drop to 5-1.
"It was a tough match with a lot of emotion," head coach Jamie Ashworth said. "We lost to Georgia in the semis of the NCAA Tournament last year. I thought we did a great job of being extremely focused.
