DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 7 Duke men's basketball team tipped off the 2024-25 season with a 96-62 defeat of Maine inside Cameron Indoor Stadium on Monday, Nov. 4.
Six different Blue Devils finished with at least 10 points, paced by Kon Knueppel's 22, and Cooper Flagg became the first Duke player to register at least 10 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in a freshman debut.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Duke's freshman duo of Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach combined for Duke's first two buckets, as each found their way to the rim for layups in the first two minutes.
