DURHAM, N.C. – The ninth-ranked Duke women's soccer team (8-1-7, 3-0-6 ACC) used three second-half goals to cruise to a 4-1 victory over Syracuse (3-11-2, 1-7-1 ACC) Sunday afternoon at Koskinen Stadium.
"I thought we really pushed through in the second half," said head coach Robbie Church. "We played on their half of the field mostly in the second half. I'm happy for our seniors. We had a nice weekend to honor our seniors, and to send them out with a win was big time. Hopefully that gets us back on our field again, and that won't be the last time they're on our home field.
