DURHAM - For the second consecutive year, the Duke volleyball program continues its Share the Mic campaign during Black History Month, a partnership with several HBCU volleyball programs around the country.

First launched in 2020 by associate head coach Kellie Catanach Johnson, Share the Mic is intended to help increase the visibility of HBCU programs within the sport, provide a platform for their student-athletes to have their voices heard and form a partnership between the schools to impact change for years to come.

"Personally, I've enjoyed the privilege of a husband who is not only a former Duke football student-athlete, but who has worked at two different HBCUs over the last several years," Catanach Johnson said.
