TULSA, Okla. – The Duke men's tennis team opened action in the pre-qualifying round of the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., over the weekend.
In pre-qualifying singles competition, Oscar Brown defeated Aram Noroozian (New Mexico) 6-4, 6-2 while Connor Krug captured a 6-4, 6-2 win over Hawaii's Diego Dalisay.
Freshman Saahith Jayaraman earned his first-career win as a Blue Devil in the pre-qualifying consolation bracket with a 7-5, 6-0 win over Hugo Coquelin (Vanderbilt). Theo Winegar also earned a win in the same bracket as he downed Dalisay( 6-3, 6-1).
