KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Duke wrapped up its first exhibition game of the fall as it faced Davidson Saturday afternoon at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis, N.C.
The Blue Devils and Wildcats battled for 12 innings in preparation for the 2022 season.
"I thought we did a lot of things really well, but we certainly left Kannapolis knowing we have a lot of things to work on," Duke head coach Chris Pollard said. "We had a really good approach at the plate, and we were aggressive on the bases. Our freshmen showed terrific poise in their first game against outside competition.
