ATLANTA – Freshman Roger Kriegl broke a school record in the 500-yard freestyle and the Blue Devils turned in another strong relay performance to highlight the second day of competition at the 2017 ACC Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships Tuesday at the McAuley Aquatic Center. Duke enters the final two days of the meet in eighth place overall with a team score of 234 points.
The Blue Devils began the day with a record-breaking performance by Kriegl in the 500 freestyle preliminaries. Kriegl shaved over three seconds off his season best in the event with a 4:23.
