WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Duke claimed three victories on the opening day of the Wake Forest Invite at the Wake Forest Tennis Center on Friday.
Duke's doubles pairing of Teddy Truwit and Alexander Visser as well as Andrew Dale and Jake Krug each registered a win during the opening day, while Visser added a single win over William Nolan of Auburn.
Truwit and Visser bested Richmond's Davis Wiley and Daniel Kliebhan, 6-2, in the A1 doubles bracket, while Dale and Jake Krug claimed a 6-3 win over Romain Gales/Hamza El Amine of Virginia Commonwealth.
