DURHAM, N.C. – After opening up the spring campaign at the UVA Scrimmage, the Duke rowing team heads to Clemson, S.C., to compete in the Carolina Cup Saturday at 11 a.m.
Last season, the Blue Devils earned the top spot with five first-place finishes, claiming the V8, 2V8, 3V8, V4 and 2V4 races. Duke totaled 99 points and defeated North Carolina (81) and Clemson (77).
“We had a fantastic scrimmage against UVA last week and are ready to show our speed over 2,000 meters on Lake Hartwell,” said head coach Megan Cooke Carcagno.
