TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The men's and women's cross country teams participated at the Pre-National Invitational on the LaVern Gibson Championship Course Saturday morning.
The Duke women earned 14th out of 37 schools, totaling 454 points, while the men placed 24th out of 38 schools with 587 points. A total of 252 runners competed in the women's 6k blue race and 257 runners ran in the men's 8k blue race.
For the women, senior Lindsay Billings led the way with a time of 20:55.7, good for 48th place. Junior Michaela Reinhart came in second for Duke, clocking a time of 21:01.
