DURHAM – The Duke Baseball team came up short against Georgia Tech, 3-0, on Saturday night at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in downtown Durham.
Duke matched Georgia Tech on hits as each team registered six while six different Blue Devils recorded a hit.
Sophomore Henry Williams started on the hill for the Blue Devils. Williams enjoyed another solid performance, allowing two runs, neither earned, on four hits and a walk in 7.0 innings of work. The Darien, Conn., native also added nine strikeouts.
Duke (9-10, 4-7 ACC) started strong, outhitting Georgia Tech (13-6, 10-4 ACC) by a 5-0 margin through the first four innings.
