BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Duke women’s basketball team overcame a first-half deficit to edge Virginia Tech in exciting fashion Thursday, defeating the Hokies by a 66-62 score at Cassell Coliseum. With the win, the Blue Devils improved to 18-10 overall and evened their ACC ledger at 7-7.
Junior Oderah Chidom and redshirt sophomore Rebecca Greenwell led the way with 16 and 15 points, respectively, while Chidom picked up her second double-double of the season with a game-high 11 rebounds. Freshman Angela Salvadores also chipped in 10 points and added four assists.
