CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Duke fencing team opened the 2021 ACC Fencing Championship Saturday in unstoppable fashion with a program-record 11 individual medals as the Blue Devils won five of the six individual crowns.
Duke posted an historic performance on the women's side, finishing with seven of the nine medalists, including each of the podium finishers in epee and foil. The Blue Devils also had the champions in all three weapons.
Huda Aldadah (epee), Alex Gorman (saber) and Zoe Superville (foil) were crowned ACC Champions in their respective events, the first gold medals of their careers.
