HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Duke track & field program kicked off the outdoor season Friday at the VertKlasse Meet on the campus of High Point University.
Both Baker and Rodriguez made their Duke debut as Baker posted the fourth-best toss in Duke history. The Olathe, Kan., native registered a mark of 48.77m to take second overall, followed by Rodriguez in fourth. Rodriguez tossed the javelin 43.72m.
Marsack concluded the first day of competition with a second-place finish. The Stroudsburg, Pa., native posted a mark of 66.16m, the fourth-best toss in Duke history.
The Blue Devils will be back in action Saturday to close out the VerKlasse Meet.
